About Us
AKA was founded by Ar Kamal Alwi in 2011 and operated in Menara Centara Kuala Lumpur. Collaborating with Citylab Projects Sdn Bhd, AKA forms a more extensive collaboration with Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and other professionals.
The current portfolio and previous experience cover all major sectors and have been honoured with several design awards such as the Lenggong Valley Visitor Centre UNESCO World Heritage Site Idea Competition and MGBC-PAM Next Generation Green Building Design Competition.
The practice is a perpetuation of experience and a continual strive to meet future challenges. Backed by a dedicated professional team, AKA pledges to respond to projects of any size and complexity with the deepest level of involvement in design and implementation skills. Hence, to deliver projects which meet the highest possible standards of excellence.
