B. Arch IIT(Chicago), MScAAD (New York)
Ridzwa received B. Arch from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago and Msc in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University, New York. He brings along extensive architectural + urban design experience from the Far-East, Mid-East and now, the UK. Formerly DesignDirector at T.R. Hamzah & Yeang in Kuala Lumpur, a renowned ECO-architectural practice, his many high profile projects include the award winning National Library Board Building in Singapore, the ECO-Tower competition entry for Elephant & Castle and the Jabal Omar & Shamiyah Masterplan competition proposals for Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

Spending most of his early years in America, Ridzwa was trained under Hani Rashid at Columbia University and at Asymptote Architecture. He co-founded Citylabstudio alongside Imaan Lim in 2004, proposing works at various scales in Kuala Lumpur and the UAE.

During his tenure as a director at TPBennett in London, Ridzwa proposed designs for the new London Bridge Station and Masterplan amongst other projects.
Ridzwa is fascinated by the evolution of CITIES* ...its growth towards hyper-density &mutation of architectures as projection of intelligent forms. Using design as a tool, he conducts critical analysis of demands and designs collectively to form an array of NEW spatial typologies & hybrid conditions. These are spatialities that extend the environments and landscapes we work, live and play in.
